Installing Cyrious SMS 2000 can be a time consuming process. Plan ahead and make sure you have a good understanding of computer functions. With the steps listed within this section the installation time should be greatly reduced if you follow them correctly.
Items needed for a successful upgrade:
Cyrious Installation CD (of the most current version)
A fair amount of free time for installation
10-45 minutes for single user install (depending on computer performance)
A backup of their most recent data. (stored in a secure location)
Data3(by default) Folder (could also be a folder that they named specifically)
CustomReports (only applicable if user has specialized reports. This would include any reports they may have modified or reports that were specifically written for said user by Cyrious Software for a charge).
Internet connection with Windows Netmeeting (not required, but recommended)
