Creating P Drive

For Windows 95/98, follow the steps below.

1. Click on Start > Run and type in: " Notepad c:\autoexec.bat " and then click Ok.

2. On the second line, type this string " SUBST P: C:\cyrious "

3. Click on File and then Save.

4. Exit notepad.

5. Restart Computer.

6. After Restart is complete:

   • Double-Click on " My Computer "

   • Verify that you are able to see a " P: " Drive

*note*: if you do not have a " P: " Drive, please contact Cyrious Support

For Windows NT/2000/Millennium, follow the steps below.
Warning! : These steps are only for Windows NT/2000/Millennium

1. Click on Start > Run.

   • Type in " regedit " and press the " OK " button

2. Click the ' + ' sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

3. Click the ' + ' sign next to SOFTWARE

4. Click the ' + ' sign next to Microsoft

5. Click the ' + ' sign next to Windows

6. Click the ' + ' sign next to Current Version

7. Right-Click on Run or Run Services

   • Click on " New > String Value "

   • Change the name from new value to " Cyrious SUBST "

   • Right-Click on the " Cyrious SUBST " value on the rightside

   • Click on Modify

   • Under Value Data type in " SUBST P: C:\CYRIOUS "

   • Press the " OK " button.

8. Restart Computer.

9. After Restart is complete:

   • Double-Click on " My Computer "

   • Verify that you are able to see a " P: " Drive
